Riverview Tire and Auto Center LLC, an auto repair shop in Bahama, NC,  is owned and operated by John Powell.  He opened the business in May of 1999 and has been providing the best auto repair service for Durham, Bahama and surrounding communities.  John started with just 2 employees and now employs 5 professional mechanics.

Riverview Tire and Auto Center LLC originally opened at 5202 N. Roxboro Road, Durham, then moved to 110 Madden Road, Durham in 2009.  In October of 2016, John moved the business to its new home and current location, 205 Preston Andrews Rd., Bahama, NC 27503.

John started working on his neighbors vehicles doing brakes and similar jobs when he was just 14.  He also worked after school selling auto parts and in the garage of a different auto repair shop back then.

Now, John enjoys the challenges and new technology of the auto repair industry.  He has lived in the Northern Durham County area for 22 years.  John is bringing his kids up here in this community just like many of his customers are.  This is truly a family business as John’s son is one of his mechanics.  John says he loves this community because the people are loyal and friendly.  Being personable and trustworthy, and having integrity are absolutes at the Riverview Tire and Auto Center.  When you visit this auto repair shop, you will be treated like family.
